FS#188 - Installer crash when booting from usb

Ive posted an issue ive found when trying to install manjaro from usb on reddit:
https://www.reddit.com/r/ManjaroLinux/comments/68kozx/manjaro_installer_crash/

I found testing with multiple usb sticks, multiple computers, virtual box.
The same issue happens every time with 17.0 and 17.0.1.

The only way to install manjaro on any of my machines was to use a dvd drive (incredibly slow).
For those machines without dvd I cannot get it installed.

Ive marked this as high due to its being a pretty important issue. Feel free to adjust...

HI it seems I was having trouble getting it to work too in the usb.

What I used was the Rufus USB creator and in there when you are creating the USB there is 2 options 1 as an iso file and the other as a dd file. I would need to run through again and ill post my steps here and it worked properly for me.

My workaround for this issue was to disconnect the network. After that it runs fine from the usb or dvd.

If there was a working network/internet connection it causes the above issue...
